The Federation of Associations signs an agreement to support the Nashmiyat Jordan Charitable Association.

The General Union of Charitable Societies signed at the Union’s headquarters today an agreement to support the Nashmiyat Jordan Charitable Association with an amount of 5 thousand dinars to implement the economic empowerment project for women for you. We work in Zarqa Governorate.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the General Union, its president, Dr. Atef Odaibat, and on behalf of the association, its president, former MP Rudaina Al-Ati, in the presence of the Director General of the Union and Lottery, Khalil Al Qubaisi.

Dr. Adibat stressed the federation’s keenness to strengthen the role of associations to bring about development, involve them in the activities and events organized by the federations, and direct them to submit studies and projects to enhance their work mechanisms in a way that reflects positively on the local community.

He pointed out that the Union is a national institution that always seeks to work in partnership with various institutions and entities, indicating that this support for charitable organizations came in accordance with the foundations and standards approved by the Union with the aim of empowering women with many skills in order to improve their economic level and enhance their ability to establish purposeful projects.

Odaibat stated that the Union directs support to productive projects away from direct support, with the aim of achieving sustainable development and as an incentive for other associations that must move towards providing economic feasibility for projects that will benefit them and contribute to employing the workforce to solve the problem of poverty and unemployment.

The association's president, Al-Ati, stated that the association, which was established in 2007, aims to empower women in the local community, instill loyalty among young people, support families and orphans, and organize training courses concerned with women in society.

She appreciated the support of the General Union for the association to enhance its message and goals to serve the public interest.

Director of Projects at the General Union, Shatha Qutaishat, said that this is the fifth agreement that the Union has signed since the beginning of this year with the associations to support them in achieving their mission and goals to empower women and enhance their ability to achieve projects that will benefit them and their families.
