Al-Khawaldeh sponsors the opening of the second Sanfah Charity Bazaar

 

The President of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Amer Al-Khawaldeh, sponsored the opening activities of the second Safha Charitable Bazaar, which was organized by the Safha Association for Social Development in the hall of the Union of Charitable Societies in Tafila Governorate, with the participation of a number of representatives of associations and community events.

Al-Khawaldeh said that the bazaar embodies the message of volunteer work and social solidarity, and reflects the vital role played by charitable societies in empowering productive families and opening new horizons for them to market their products and improve their sources of income, stressing the General Union’s keenness to support initiatives that contribute to enhancing local development and the community economy.

He pointed out that the Union continues to provide support and support to charitable organizations in various governorates, enabling them to implement sustainable development programs and projects, pointing out the importance of partnership between civil society institutions, official bodies and the private sector to advance charitable and volunteer work.

He stressed that productive bazaars constitute an important platform for highlighting the creativity of productive families and craftsmen, and contribute to enhancing the culture of self-reliance and encouraging small projects, which reflects positively on economic and social development in local communities.

For his part, the President of the Association, Sami Al-Sawalqa, appreciated the efforts of the President of the Union in strengthening the role of associations and enabling them to carry out their humanitarian and development mission.

Al-Sawalqa pointed out that the bazaar included many pavilions that included the products of productive families, popular foods, heritage works, handicrafts, and home crafts, in addition to a number of rural products that reflect the local heritage, with the aim of supporting productive families and providing a window to market their products and enhance their economic participation.
