A meeting to discuss the operational mechanism of the Jordanian Lottery Development and Management Company

 

An expanded meeting was held at the headquarters of the General Union of Charitable Societies, bringing together the National Committee for Lottery Affairs Management, the Jordanian Lottery Development and Management Company, and a team from the General Union to discuss the observations contained in the auditor's report (Mithaq Company) regarding the Jordanian Lottery Development and Management Company's operational mechanisms.

The meeting was chaired by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Social Development and Chairman of the National Committee for Lottery Affairs Management, Dr. Barq Al-Dhamour, in the presence of the Vice-Chairman of the National Committee and Chairman of the General Union of Charitable Societies, Amer Al-Khawaldeh; the Director of the Associations Support Fund and member of the National Committee, Mahmoud Al-Harout; the Director-General of the Lottery and Committee Rapporteur, Khalil Al-Qubaisi; a team from the Jordanian Lottery Development and Management Company; representatives from the auditing firm; and several employees of the General Union.

The meeting included a thorough discussion of all the observations and recommendations contained in the auditor's report, reviewing each item individually and exploring ways to address them within the established legal and administrative frameworks.

The participants emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination among the various stakeholders and working to develop implementation and oversight mechanisms to enhance performance efficiency, promote transparency and good governance, and ensure the proper implementation of the agreement signed between the General Union of Charitable Societies and the Jordanian Lottery Development and Management Company.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on following up on the implementation of the agreed-upon recommendations and outcomes to achieve the public interest, ensure the sustainability of the work, and realize the desired goals and objectives of the agreement.
